Woman Made Gallery (WMG) is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1992 to support women in the arts by providing opportunities and hosting exhibitions that raise public awareness and recognition of women’s cultural contributions. From 1992 through 2012 WMG has hosted 349 exhibitions, made up of 175 group shows, 126 invitational/solo shows, 38 Artisan Gallery exhibitions, and 10 off-site shows. Approximately 7,250 women artists have exhibited their work since WMG was established. WMG is located at 685 North Milwaukee Ave in Chicago.
