Summer is in full swing and so is our Toyota Giving campaign! We kicked things off at Stagecoach in April, continued the country music fun at Country 500 last month, and this month we’re heading to the woods in Dover, Delaware for Firefly Festival!
Firefly is an important festival stop this year as it is the market connected with our grant recipient in Philadelphia. At the conclusion of our festival campaign, we will join VH1 Save The Music Foundation in a special assembly to award a $50,000 Music & Technology grant to a Philadelphia high school as well as a $7,500 music grant to the Miami-Dade School District.
We’ll be back on site at the Toyota Music Den with our Toyota Giving installation to raise awareness about the importance of music education and ask artists and fans what music means to them. Festival attendees are invited to take a photo and share it on social media using #TOYOTAGIVING along with their message of what music means to them.
